'U218 Singles' is their latest greatest hits album, a career-spanning collection of 16 songs, and two new tracks, including their new single, 'The Saints Are Coming', a collaboration with Green Day released as part of Hurricane Katrina charity Music Rising.

This limited version of the album includes a bonus live disc, featuring tracks performed on Vertigo Tour in Milan last year.

自分自身が叔父さん世代に入っているせいか、本当に申し訳無いがGreen Dayとのｺﾗﾎﾞは聞いたけど、どうしても苦手です。あとの選曲は、勿論すんなり聞けました。一家に一枚有っても、問題無いﾍﾞｽﾄ盤です。敢えて失言を言えば、変な偽善ﾁｬﾘﾃｨｰは本当にうんざり。これはｲｷﾞﾘｽの某ｱｰﾃｨｽﾄも、言っていた発言です。言っている事と、実際の生活の違い等をね。地球規模の問題も確かに大事だけど、ﾐｭｰｼﾞｼｬﾝは本来音楽中心にやるべきだ。それはU2らしくないか、終わり。

バージョン違いで18曲もPVが入って2500円は...

バージョン違いで18曲もPVが入って2500円は確かにお買い得。ただ、ニューPVは実質”How to 〜”からのPVだけということなのでそこは？ならば、2枚組でもいいから、＋〜1990の完全版で出して欲しかった（# In Gods Country, Two Hearts Beat as Oneなど）。とにかく先ずは’80sの完全版希望。ただ、extraのメイキングは相変わらず面白い出来。#One でのメンバーの表情は普段見れない表情。

最近のU2の写真はあまり見たくないなぁと思ってたので、ふんだんに昔の写真が貼られた歌詞ｶｰﾄﾞが良かった。U2はどんな選曲してもベスト・アルバムになるな。こんなの聴いてらんないっていう選曲の方が難しいバンドだ！
