「アメリカ最高峰のロックの印象派」(米ローリングストーン誌)等と評される、シカゴ出身ロック・バンド＜WILCO / ウィルコ＞の頭脳、ジェフ・トゥイーディ(vo,g)が、18歳の息子スペンサーとのプロジェクトを始動！
「このアルバム作りをスタートした時はソロを考えていた。しかし自分にとってソロとは”全てを自分でこなす”ということで、この作品はデモ段階からスペンサーが協力してくれていた。だから今作はソロというよりデュオなんだ。」―ジェフ・トゥイーディスペンサーは、既にバンド活動や映像監督、カメラマン等をこなすマルチ・アーティストで、ウィルコの「ホール・ラヴ」ミュージック・ビデオを監督していることでも有名だが、そんな若き才能とジェフのタッグによる本作は本家ウィルコに勝るとも劣らない内容となっており、今年結成20周年を迎えるウィルコのファンにとっても必聴のアルバムだ。また、アルバム収録曲「サマー・ヌーン」は、アメリカで７月公開の映画『Boyhood（原題）』(映画『スクール・オブ・ロック』等のリチャード・リンクレイター監督)にも起用されている。
