Things Change

Los Tumbados are a hip hop group from Highland Park (Los Angeles) that blends hip hop boom bap, with funk, blues, jazz, and rock. The members of the group come from a wide range of musical backgrounds; which results in an eclectic mix of diverse music. The album contains a nice blend of diversity and culture. There are bilingual tracks like Someone is Killing You and all Spanish tracks like LaMatamota, which intelligently mix the Chicano with the Mexicano. The overall feel of the album is very underground oriented. The lyracists 'El Pinche Tapp', 'Phaser Loco' and Dj/ Producer Dj Conman push all musical boundaries, branching out in all directions. Los Tumbados have shared stages with such acts as Psycho Realm, Cypress Hill, Control Machete, SX10 Kid Frost, Too Short, UGK, Slick Rick, Ludacris, Ozomatli, and Long Beach Dub All-stars, just to name a few.
