Wisconsin's reggae-rockers Tugg are set to release a new album MAZES on May 17th 2013. This will be the first full-length release for the band since 2010 and it's 5th overall since 2009. At the Production helm is none other than Ted Bowne from the band PASSAFIRE. Tugg brought Bowne to their hometown studio (Natural Recording Co.) in La Crosse, WI over a period of two-weeks this past November and December; however, the album has been nearly a year in the making. Bowne served as the main Engineer, Producer, and mixed the record as well. The album will feature the Midwest bands signature mix of reggae, rock, and ska and compared to their last few releases MAZES is much more electric. We contacted Ted last summer and then made the plan to record in November. Since then we've been writing and pre-producing songs. We sent over a few batches of demos and Ted gave us a list of his favorites, which we then started to fine tune. The whole process was a blast.
