恨めしきかな愛の鼓動・インディアン・ポップス 　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　心底期待して初めて買ったGurtuの作品が、よりによってインディアン・ポップスだとは。 期待したものとは、「TRIO Rypdal, VItous ＆ Gurtu-Live in Concert 1994」DVDで魅せたパーカッショニストとしての顔だ。かみそりのように鋭利なタイム感覚なレガート、片膝ついて絶妙なタイミングでシンバルを使用しながらのソロ、そして十八番のタブラ。いくら多彩多芸であるからといって、POPSまで謡うと思わなんだ。英語ならともかくベンガル語？とは、あら恨めしや。
