日本でなぜにこの程度の人気＆評価なのか不明ですが、大変優れた女性アーティストです。表面的には一般的なロック＆ポップスですが、最近ファッションアイテムとして機能してしまっているビョーク等よりもある意味先鋭的な一面も持っています。この作品は彼女の作品の中でも名曲揃いの名作です。彼女の代表曲とも言えるＭ８だけでなく、Ｍ１、Ｍ４、Ｍ５、Ｍ１０も必聴です。

一言で言うとピアノ弾き語りなんだが。彼女に惹かれるのは歌唱力だの演奏力だのではない。魂から搾り出す声が一番の魅力。言葉の行間を埋めるピアノがまた、見事に「語って」いる。
