Its difficult to find a band these days that can stand out amongst the rest. Creativity feels like a dying breed at times in the music world. Thousand Below have set out to change that. Combining elements of early 2000s post-hardcore (a la Underoath, Silverstein, etc.) with their own fresh sound, these guys are quickly setting themselves apart from their peers in the best way. After seeing great success with their first two single releases, Thousand Below are ready to showcase their work in album form. The Love You Let Too Close is the debut full-length from the San Diego-based, post-hardcore outfit, but it is not one to be overlooked. Their combination of heartfelt lyrics and punchy riffs make these 11 songs flow seamlessly, all tied together with effortless transitions between clean singing and screaming. The emotion of these songs alone is enough to pull new listeners into this album.
