以前よりも人数が少し減りクインテットとなったが、和歌山生まれの日本人女性ピアニスト田中鮎美が参加。日本とノルウェーの間を自らのインプロヴィゼーションを通しコネクションを作ってきた彼女、ストレーネンも前作以上に光を当てるようなコンポーズを披露している。前作同様ストリングスは健在でストリングス･トリオにもピアノ･トリオにも自由になりうるクインテットいかにもECMらしい音楽を展開！
