他の方も書かれてますがこれこそが最高傑作です。キャッチーでポップな楽曲が多く初心者ウェルカム。聴きやすい。 　オアシスのリアムやパール・ジャムのエディなども本作の信者で崇拝しているらしいです。 　永遠に残したい英国ロックの偉大なる遺産。私の神盤の１枚。

まだ私が、学生だった頃なので３０年以上前ですが、このアルバムをモティーフにした映画（題名は”青春の〜”済みません忘れました！）を観て主役のモッズの青年が、着てたＴシャツ（日の丸みたいな、マークのやつです）、ジーンズはリーヴァイス501が欲しくてしょうがなかったのを思い出します。確か、その映画には、まだブレイクする前の、ポリスのスティングが出演していたと思います。その当時はまだこのアルバムの良さがあまり理解出来なかったんですが、ジャケットは気に入ってて部屋に飾ってました。今は、大好きな作品の一つですね。

CD2枚に詰め込むだけ詰め込むコスト努力は評価するものの、元々のアナログC面でのロッカーチューン4連打の流れ、曲間のSE効果、構成がぶち壊しや。　DrownedとBell Boyに間が空くなんてまさに間抜けですよ。 これは俺らジジイに高い方の5枚組を買わせる戦略か。
