すばらしい夏の宵、ザ・フーはグループのヒット曲群を見事な歌と演奏で披露した。ステージを囲む大型スクリーンに映し出される映像や、照明効果もショーも見どころのひとつになっており、このショーをさらにすばらしいものにしていた。この巨大なスケールのコンサートのオープニニングで、ピート・タウンゼントは「ここから遠く離れた場所にいるファンにも、きっとこのショーを楽しんでもらう」と宣言している。彼はしっかりと約束を果たしてくれた。

DVDとブルーレイには、ボーナス・トラックとして、「シーカー」のハイド・パークで収録されたライヴ・ヴァージョンを追加収録した。
