An outstanding collection of music, 'The Very Best Of The Stone Roses' provides the first truly comprehensive anthology of this incredible, generation-defining Manchester band. Spanning the Roses' entire career, the tracklisting for the first time unites songs from their eponymous Silvertone debut and the Geffen-released 'The Second Coming' and has been fully approved by the band (the first time Ian Brown, John Squire, Reni and Mani have collaborated since Reni left the band in 1995). The album comes complete with exclusive John Squire artwork and extensive sleeve notes from long-time Stone Roses commentator John McCready. All tracks were remastered from the original tapes at Abbey Road Studios by Chris Blair, overseen by John Leckie and (for the 'Second Coming' tracks) Simon Dawson.

個人的には「Driving South」と「How Do You Sleep」も入ってたら更にうれしかったのですが、ほぼ完璧に近い選曲ですね。「Elephant Stone」なんか泣きそうになりました。感動で。

サリー・シナモンが入っているのは嬉しい限りです。そして最高の融合。胸がいっぱいの一枚です！！エレファント・ストーンには素敵な夢をみます。本当に色褪せないですね。このCDが出た。奇跡は信じてもいいのでしょうか？
