１９７２年の小学生の頃に日本でよく売れたスタイリステックスにはまり、それ経由で後追いで「デルフォニックス」と出会った。これが長〜いスウィート・ソウル地獄の始まりであった。フィリー・ーサウンド特有のきらびやかな音色とドリーミーなファルセット・ボイスに身も心も溶けまくりの日々です。５０年間に渡り、あらゆるコネを使ってスウィートソウルと名の付くものはすべてコレクションしてきたけれどハッキリ言ってデルフォニックスの「Tell Me This Is A Dream]を超えるものはないと断言しよう。
