After the huge worldwide success of 2000’s ‘In Blue’, The Corrs return with their most spellbinding set of songs to date with the brilliant ‘Borrowed Heaven’. Recorded in Dublin and Los Angeles over an eighteen month period and produced by Olle Romo, it contains eleven tracks written by the band and a twelfth, ‘Time Enough For Tears’ written by Bono and Gavin Friday.

The album’s title track features South African superstars Ladysmith Black Mambazo with whom The Corrs performed at November 2003’s 46664 concert, whilst final track ‘Silver Strand’ is a traditional Irish song written by Andrea and Sharon. Other highlights include the infectious first single ‘Summer Sunshine’ and the breathtaking ‘Goodbye’.

‘Borrowed Heaven’ is another amazing album from the Irish siblings proving, once again, that they are one of the finest groups in the world today.

アイルランドを代表するグループ、コアーズによる2004年リリースのアルバムです。相変わらず素晴らしい音楽です。聴いてるだけで心癒されること間違いない。個人的にはオープニング「Summer Sunshine」がオススメです。日本でも高い評価を得ているし、商業的にも成功しているのでこれからもさらなる活躍を期待したい。

ポップ、ロック、メロディ、コーラス、アイリッシュ、柔らかい、暖かい、清々しい、清涼感･･･コアーズの個人的に持っているイメージをそのまま安定してこのアルバムでも聴かせてくれてます。日本のお米みたいな？？毎日、美味しくしかも安全に食べられる〜♪そんなコアーズになってきた印象です（苦笑）よく噛めば甘味も感じるし･･･。このアルバムの”安定感”ある演奏･歌はいいですね〜
