Glenn Miller Formula Part 3

When Tex Beneke took over leadership of the Glenn Miller Orchestra it had included a string section and French horn player, but as time passed increasing financial restraints meant that he had to release them and go back to the original orchestra format. At that time Tex was known to comment that the orchestra now sounded more like the original Glenn Miller Sound. We have previously issued two CDs titled the Glenn Miller Formula parts one and two. On this third CD, Tex Beneke and the band complete the series of four RCA Thesaurus transcriptions for radio stations which were recorded in the Autumn of 1949.
