4 Trios: Vol.1

If you like Acoustic Jazz Piano Trio music you'd be wise to check out both vol. 1 & vol. 2 of this set of CD's by Terry Lower. Terry has been performing for over 30 years (mostly as a sideman) in many different groups and with such greats as Benny Golson and Frank Morgan and he momentarily steps away from his own ensemble (Terry Lower Septet) to record 21 different selections with 4 different drummers and bassists on this set of CD's. Alot of Jazz standards and some unique 'not-so-standard' arrangements with anything from slow ballads to fast tempo be-bop will keep your ears perked up during your listening experience.
