Digitally remastered edition. The Seeds of Love is the third studio album by Tears for Fears. In the US, the album peaked at #8, and was also certified platinum. The album contained the singles: Sowing the Seeds of Love, Woman in Chains, Advice for the Young at Heart and Badman's Song. Upon release, it was seen (and still is) as one of the greatest albums of the 80s.

ミディアムで長めの曲が多く、前作に比べ大人っぽい仕上がりの印象で、ビートルズの影響もあり、普遍的な王道を狙ったのかなと思っていた。テーマやリリックも分かりやすい。AOR的にも良く出来たアルバムだと思います。1st、2ndのエレクトリックな要素は控え目です。「Advice for the Young at Heart 」が好きでしたね。

やはり、今聴いても名盤中の名盤です！最初に聴いた時ははビートルズの影響が大きいと思いました。発売当時は２ｎｄのインパクトに負けていた感じがしましたが、何度も聴いているうちに段々とハマって行って今では２ｎｄより聴いてます。音質も良くなり２枚目のディスクにはシングル・バージョンやＢ面、インストが色々と盛り沢山で最高です！
