K, his family later moved to Saint Lucia, where he was raised and remains today. The unique mix of musical influences (his Mom and Dad both played piano) has had a strong influence on the interesting sound that he has developed over the years. Zii has an energy in his performances that reaches out and grabs the audience to the point that they are singing along with him and they become part on the exchange...experience. His ability to turn it out vocally as well as being an accomplished saxophonist who has shared stages with Shaggy, Fantasia, Michael Bolton, Jimmy Cliff, Dave Koz, Morgan Heritage and many others make him an experienced artist. He has performed on the Reggae Blitz US tour with Ky-mani Marley, son of Bob Marley, alongside Maxi Priest, Toots and the Maytals and Andrew Tosh. The evolution of his music into something else has taken him to a different level. With the CD release of Destiny, Zii demonstrates his ability to compose/create/arrange and perform music that has an authentic sound.
