CD EP. The Ranch is a four song EP from Nashville-based country/Americana/rock singer/songwriter, Tayla Lynn, featuring a remarkable new duet with grandmother Loretta of Honky Tonk Girl, the song that began Loretta's iconic career more than six decades ago. Honky Tonk Girl and a new track, Coal Dust, penned by songwriter-producer, James House and Leslie Satcher were recorded with House at Victor House Studios in Nashville. Two additional songs, co-written by Tayla, Muddy River and These Wheels, were recorded at the famous London Bridge Studio in Seattle with producers Geoff Ott and Jonathan Plum. The Ranch also includes a short bonus track of a priceless conversation between Tayla and Loretta talking about Honky Tonk Girl and features career advice from Loretta to her adoring granddaughter.
