コンラッド・シュニッツラーやHARMONIAのポップ化作品が成功している例。TANGERINE DREAMの本作等がそうでない例。アヴァンギャルドさを失って商業主義へと以後突っ走るTDの面々......。

「ﾌｪｰﾄﾞﾗ」「ﾙﾋﾞｺﾝ」「ﾘｺｼｪ」3部作（？）を評価する声が多いようですが、私はその3作に次ぐこのｱﾙﾊﾞﾑでＴＤは頂点を極めたと思います。「ｱﾃﾑ」「ｱﾙﾌｧ」「ﾂｧｲﾄ」などは（ﾄﾞﾗｯｸﾞしてない人には特に）聴く側のすり寄りが必要ですが、このｱﾙﾊﾞﾑでは、彼らの持ち味がいい意味でﾎﾟｯﾌﾟに昇華されています。いわば、彼らのｷｬﾘｱの中で、ﾌﾛｲﾄﾞの「狂気」のような作品だと思います。ＴＤ初めての人はここから“さかのぼって”聴いていくことをオススメします（決して「ｱﾝｺｰﾙ〜」「ｻｲｸﾛﾝ」‥と“おりて”いくことは私は推奨いたしませんが）。
