デヴィッド・バーンの初監督・脚本による映画『トゥルー・ストーリーズ』の中で使われていた曲を、トーキング・ヘッズが演奏したという、サントラのようでサントラでないという紛らわしい一枚（1986年発表）。レコーディングはテキサスで行われ、前作からの路線を引きながらもいつになく土臭いニュアンスに仕上がっている。因みに映画のほうはアメリカの片田舎に住む市井の人達の生態を不思議な感覚で描いた短編集だった。

発売当時『今度はヘビメタとテックスメック...

発売当時『今度はヘビメタとテックスメックスだ！』てな謡い文句に気を取られていたためにマトモに聴けなかった。今になって聴くと印象的な曲が多く、何だかんだ言って全曲歌える自分(笑)。
