デヴィッド・バーンのだぼだぼスーツも大きな話題を呼んだトーキング・ヘッズの名作ライヴ・フィルムのサントラ盤（1984年発表）。シンプルな”サイコキラー”などは先に出ていた二枚組ライヴ『The Name Of This Band...』にも収録されていたし、計3曲がダブっていたが、こちらのほうがすっきりとした編集になっていて聴き易い。ただやはりどうしても映画とともに楽しみたい一枚ではある。

LP購入後、ホント久しぶりに聴いてみて、いちばん最初に思ったのは、「あれ、こんなにエッジがたってなかったっけ。」ということ。でも、『CROSSEYED AND PAINLESS』はよかったっすよ。余計なはなしで申し訳ないが、このあとなぜかRIDEの『chelsea girl』を聴いている私でした。
