紀尾井シンフォニエッタ初CD！尾高／武満徹作品集
2000年デジタル録音。通常のCDプレーヤーでも再生可能なハイブリッドSACD。尾高忠明が得意としている武満徹の作品を、手兵紀尾井シンフォニエッタ東京と録音したアルバム。作曲者生誕70周年を記念した同オケの第23回定期演奏会の終了後収録したもの。出世作《弦楽のためのレクイエム》は初演当時の筆写譜をも確認し、出版譜の訂正を施したクリティカルなもの。他は60代以降に書かれた晩年の作品で、C.リンドベルイのために書かれた《ファンタズマ／カントスⅡ》、ディッキンソンの詩にインスパイアされた《ハウ・スロー・ザ・ウィンド》、島になぞらえられた奏者が５つに分かれ呼応する《群島S》はステレオ効果満点。《トゥリー・ライン》《雨ぞ降る》の計6曲を収録。室内オケならではのクリアなサウンドとアンサンブルが魅力です。
