狂気の淵に立つ人間というのは何故こんな作品を生み出せるのだろう。井上の凝りまくったベースラインもいい、花田、下山の冷ギターのわななきももちろんいい。でもこの作品は大江のヴォーカルにつきる。何ものにも代えがたい真の歌い手がここにいる。説明出来ない凄まじさ。

ルースターズが劇的に進化してちょうど過渡期の作品であるが当時のシーンに対応するかのようにニューウェイブ／サイケデリックへと変わっていって一時期日本のエコー＆ザ・バニーメンとも呼ばれたが僕としては1stと同じ位限界ギリギリの緊張感が生み出した最高の大名盤である
