寺島レコードでこのボーカリストの作品を聴いて良かったので、今回の輸入盤も購入したところ正解だった。これからの活躍を期待している。

購入して大正解、世界は狭いなーと、つい感じてしまった、極上のジャズボーカルアルバムですね(^^♪

I can hardly believe this is the first recording by this incredible talent. I listen to and review many jazz recordings, and I can say wholeheartedly that this compilation of arrangements as well as her own original material is stellar. The group is top-flight as well. I especially love her rendition of Besame Mucho -- completely original while still evoking the mood of the song itself. It’s clear that this singer is talented on a level that is on par with anyone out there today. I have given this CD as a gift to several friends, and it does not disappoint. Again, if I could give it more than 5 stars I would!

I listen to a lot of jazz vocalists, and Susan Tobocman is not only a great singer and interpreter of songs, she is also a composer and lyricist the likes of a modern-day Irving Berlin. The arrangements on this CD are wonderful as well. The pianist is especially engaging, and the trio is not only supportive but interactive. I highly recommend this recording, and you should check our her other CD, Watercolor Dream. You won’t be disappointed! If I could give this record more stars I would.
