Supergrass are one of the most important bands to emerge during the 1990s Britpop scene. Formed in Oxford UK in 1993, they began as an indie group with a uniquely energetic sound and released their debut album I Should Coco in 1995. The albums fourth single, Alright, was a pop masterpiece and became a massive hit, catapulting the band to global success. Road To Rouen is Supergrass' acclaimed 5th studio album, originally released in 2005. Includes the singles: St. Petersburg, Low C and Fin. Original artwork reproduced.

リリースから2年近く聴き続けてやっとその...

リリースから2年近く聴き続けてやっとその良さが理解できてきたという、個人的にはものすごいスルメ盤、かつ飽きない一枚。アルバム前半は新機軸、中盤はいつものスパグラ節、最後の二曲はバラードで締めといった感じですが、特に「Roxy」の高揚感がすごい。この実験作を経た上での次作にも期待。

かっこいい！前作との違いに戸惑ったけど、新たなサウンドへのアプローチがかっこいい。きっと賛否が分かれる作品だろうとは思うけど、彼らの行く道には期待したいと思えるアルバムでした。

めっちゃくちゃオシャレなアルバムです！このアルバムは心が研ぎ澄まされますよ！ギャズの声はだんだん素敵になっていってるし。こんなメロディーも作るなんて、やっぱり才能があるんだなって惚れ直しました！ちなみに国内盤はＣＣＣＤじゃあーりません！(チャーリー浜)
