晩年のレコーディングに際し、録画も行って...

晩年のレコーディングに際し、録画も行ってくれたので、たくさんの演奏を映像付きで楽しめる事はありがたいのだが、一方、なぜこの演奏を録画してくれなかったのかというものも多い。あぁ、レニーのハルサイはリハーサルで見るしかないのかとあきらめかけた頃の登場。白黒・モノラル・演奏上の傷・カメラアングルがなれていないなどあるものの、若いバーンスタインが踊る姿。いいねぇ。ある種の新興宗教のようなもので、私のような人間にとって、そのお姿を拝める事が至福の時という事も否定しない。けど、間のとり方、フレーズの作り方、晩年には無い猛突進など、こんなに古い映像でも引き込まれてしまう。今年はハルサイだけで数枚のDVDを買った。音質・画質ともにこれよりいいけど、繰り返しは見なかった。理由は別にしても、ひたすら人の心をひきつけるものがカリスマ性。個人的にはすでにメロメロですが、万人向けではないかもしれないので、星4つです～っ！！！！
