60年代デトロイト・サイケデリック・シーンに咲いた幻のバンド、ストーニー＆ザ・ジャグド・エッジの聖櫃級音源がヴァイナルで登場！！　67年初期から68年後期までという短い活動期間ながら、カリスマ的なデイヴ"ストーニー"メイザーのヴォーカルと歪んでワウるアイラ・パックのギターが放つ恍惚のサイケ・サウンドで、グランデ・ボールルームなどの地元ヒッピーたちをトリップさせていたとか。ここに収録されたのは、ジープ・ホーランドのAスクエア・レーベルで録音されながら長らく焼失したと思われていた幻の音源で、ビッグ・ビートの発掘作業で発見されたもの。当時発売されていたら……という想いを込めて重量盤LPでのリリースです！
