前作からPOPな路線により舵を切ったが今作もその延長上にあります。ディスコミュージックのような曲がならび、ポーキュパインツリーや彼の以前のソロアルバムと比べると退屈に感じてしまう。彼はプログレという型にはまるべき人ではないが、近年はPOPな曲へのこだわりを語っており、過去のファンからは賛否がわかれるかも。
