５０年以上プロとして活動してて、私の知る限り個人名義では、これが４枚目のリリースにて前作から、３０年位経っていると思います。まあ、ＭＧ’Ｓのアルバムとかコンポーザー、バックミュージシャン、プロデュース作品等を考えると優に１００枚以上は彼の名を見つけることは容易いと思います。どちらかと言うと、縁の下の力持ち的な仕事振りの方ですからね。それでも一時は、ブルースブラザーズの映画に出演したりもして表舞台にも出た頃も有ったんですよね。ともあれ 内容は、ジャケットの通り６０年代のメンフィス辺りへタイムスリップさせて呉れる素晴らしいアルバムです。ギターも彼ならではの音色で正に、”活かしてる”って言葉がぴったりです。
