In both human and musical terms, this album is the result of many encounters, passions, reflections and musical interests which have influenced my life so far. Life is dotted, in all it's complexity, with a myriad of steps which lead from one stage to another. These steps may be linear or circular. This circularity of life, of history, of the cosmos and of music looks to the future while never forgetting it's origins. I'm interested in eliminating musical barriers by combining simple melodies with the spontaneous freshness of jazz improvisation, the rhythmic elegance of fusion and the warmth of world music.
