The 10 songs featured on this album were sorted out of an extensive body of work which Static Dark developed throughout the past 8 years. After several years of writing lyrics and performing them, suddenly the time came when he felt he had feelings to express musically without the aid of words or voices. He created lots of theme based EP and album concept ideas, but they intentionally remained unreleased to the public so far. The years went by and now the time to change this just felt right. So this CD is in fact a 'cross-section' of his musical repetoire, showcasing the true highlights of those projects. Still, it's not something like a 'best of' though, rather a new and improved rebirth of the songs themselves. With final form and identity given to them at last. Keraudren Nightfall was written in 2012 whereas the first version of 'Whiteout' already took shape in 2007. This is why the selection, clean-up and production process took a little while. The task of mixing was handled beautifully by producer Nick Button who put a lot of his own immense talent and great creativity into the production and evolution of the tracks on this album.
