2009年にリリースした、スタンリー・クラーク・トリオ with上原ひろみ『ジャズ・イン・ザ・ガーデン』は上原ひろみ初のストレート・アヘッドの作品でしたが、スタンリープロジェクトの第2弾にあたる本作品は、上原ひろみを全面にフィーチャーし、レニー・ホワイト・プロデュースでロサンゼルスにて録音。今回はアコースティックとエレクトリックの両方を奏で、エキサイティングなオリジナルの新曲のみならずReturn To Forever時代のChick Corea"No Mistery"やClarke自身の"After the Cosmic Rain"の新アレンジも収録。

日本盤のみボーナス・トラック収録予定。

久々にスタンリーのエレキベースが堪能出来る作品である。こんなアルバムたくさんリリースしてほしい。最高のベースが聞ける。

最近頓に精力的ですね。 エレクトリックというとどうしてもチックコリア意識しているのかなと 思ってしまう。 でも”Kung-Fu World Champion”みたいな感じも好きなんで期待大です。 前回はカルテットの音だったので、出来たら今回もそう言う形で 弾けた音を待ってます。
