1981年7月に発表されたサザン4thアルバム。これまでの勢いに任せた感のあるライヴ乗りの作風とは異なり、洒落た洋楽的な要素が効いた、実に粋な1枚。肩の力の抜け具合といい、バンドとしてのターニングポイントとなった作品。「ステレオ太陽族」「栞のテーマ」「My Foreplay Music」「朝方ムーンライト」など、映画『モーニングムーンは粗雑に』で使用された曲が数曲収められています。また、関口和之がヴォーカルをとる「ムクが泣く」にも注目。
