Soldier On is a band... And when you start a band with people who love music as much as Jim DeSanto and Erin Powers do, it's no surprise the result is something worth paying attention to-- and if you knew them, you'd know this collaboration is a very long time in the making. DeSanto and Powers met in College back in 1999 and have just gotten around to recording their first record together. You might call it 'blue-collar folk-rock' -- but to them it's just 'playing and writing what we like.' Well, if their self-titled debut record is any indication, here's hoping they keep at it. Above all, Jim and Erin hope their music inspires fans to live, love and always, most importantly, Soldier On.
