No Time

2014 album from British Indie artist Dan Reeves AKA the Soft Walls. NO TIME'S 10 songs are meditations on the passing of time and the preconceived notions of what you can and should be doing with it. Lyrics touch on the universal fear held by many young people heading North of their 20's. Reeves spent many hours writing and re-writing at home and in his rehearsal space before hitting 'record' and that deliberation shows. While his debut was constructed as-it-happened and recorded directly into his computer, NO TIME's patience proves just how far his song craft has progressed, seamlessly aligning his Pop smarts with avant-leaning Psychedelic drones and a propulsive, rhythmic drive.
