スヌーピーは怒っていた。どこに行っても「犬はお断り！」の看板に出くわすからだ。そんなスヌーピーの元に以前の飼い主ライラから手紙が届いた。「私は入院中です。寂しいから会いに来てね。」スヌーピーはチャーリーに何も告げず、病院を目指して旅立った。残されたチャーリーはとても心配したが、スヌーピーとウッドストックはノンキに旅を続けていた。そしてライラとの再会を果たしたスヌーピーは、大好きな彼女の元で暮らす決意をする･･･
