1994年にテクノ、フォーク、ジャズ、ヒップホップ等の音楽の影響を受けたサウンド・クリエイターリアム・ハウ（シンセサイザー）とクリス・コーナー（ギター）が中心となり結成されたイギリスのトリップ・ホップバンド。ケリ・デイトンがヴォーカルを務め1996年にリリースされたファースト・アルバム『ビカミングX』ではU.K.でゴールドディスクに輝くなど、華々しいデビューを果たした。彼らのヒット曲 「6 Underground」 「Spin Spin Sugar」が収録されている。トリップホップ入門にお勧めの1枚。
