Digitally remastered and expanded two CD edition of the British Shoegaze outfit's 1995 album featuring a whole disc of previously unreleased demos. Pygmalion, their final album, was a departure from their previous two albums, incorporating a more experimental sound tilted towards Ambient Electronic music, with sparse, atmospheric arrangements. It was their final album before Slowdive disbanded in 1995, an event widely associated with the demise of Shoegazing. 21 tracks. Cherry Red. 2010.

ブリットポップ全盛期の発売当時はこれほどまでの傑作が正当な評価をされる事もなく商業的にも失敗に終わったと言うのは悲劇と言うしかない だがシューゲイザーが再評価され②流の焼き直しBandが後を絶たない今の時代だからこそこのアルバムの真の深みや美しさが発売当時以上に際立ちまばゆいまでに光り輝いている 単なるシューゲイザーの枠を完全に越えたドラッギーなサイケの名盤でもある やはり本物は違う！

今回の３作同時再発に関しては、ジャケ裏が広告めいているなど、やや勿体無い雰囲気があるものの、このラスト作『ピグマリオン』にボーナストラックを付けなかった点、これのみは「魂のリイシュー」と呼ぶにふさわしい選択だった。もしボーナス曲が付いていたなら、たぶん怖くて聴けなかったはず。もろく、かぼそく、疑わしいバランスのもとに成立し、またそれゆえに信じられ、愛されている楽曲群。多くの音を脱ぎ去って、湖底へと沈んでいく、時のない、意思の波紋。むき出しなのに、幻のように遠い。
