Digitally remastered and expanded digipak reissue of this album, originally released in 1985 and recorded with the classic Eldritch/Hussey/Adams/Marx line-up. This line-up and, in particular, this album set the standard for Gothic/Alternative Rock for years to come. This re-issue has been remastered directly from the original studio tapes and has now been bolstered with six bonus tracks, one of which, 'Some Kind of Strange [Early]', is previously unreleased. Merciful. 2006.

英国の初回LPで『Black Planet 』を聞いたときは衝撃だった。あまりのダークなかっこよさに。だがなぜかその後の日本盤LPや各国のCDでは低音がこもったようになり魅力が半減している。 だが新しく出たリマスター盤はなんと初回LP盤の音に戻っているではないか！『Black Planet 』『No Time To Cry』だけでもリマスターで聴く価値あり！

名盤です。アンドリュー・エルドリッジの世界に貴方も浸ってください。 チケット入手も公演中止と悔しい思い出あり。一度，スモーク炊きまくりでほとんど見えないという生演奏をみて（きいて）みたかった！
