It is said that 'to sing is the work of a lover.' At Christmas, LOVE INCARNATE came down from heaven and was born in a lowly cave. How fitting then for Sisters, consecrated to His service, to burst forth in song in celebration of this holy night, after the example of the Angels who announced His birth with heavenly melodies. We would like to pay a special tribute to Kyle Ormrod, a 2004 graduate of our St. Michael's Academy here in Spokane. Kyle brought to our school, and to all who knew him, remarkable gifts of kindliness, generosity, cheerfulness, dedication, the musicality of a genius, and above all, a deep spirituality. Shortly after returning to Michigan, he was killed in a tragic automobile accident not far from his home. We are deeply indebted to this young man for the treasures he shared with us of his heart and soul in SONG, and will ever remember him in our prayers.
