This album brings together three outstanding musicians from three different continents. Pianist Simon Cosgrove was born in the UK and studied music at Cambridge University before moving to Tokyo in 2003 and wholeheartedly embracing the jazz scene. As a pianist and saxophonist Simon directs a number of exciting projects in the city, and for this album he teamed up with swinging Japanese bassist Ryuichi Yamamura and world-renowned veteran Australian drummer Andrew Dickeson. The result is a magical set of swinging music, true to the heritage of modern jazz and brimming with fresh ideas.
