Rookie Card

Formed in the summer of 2006 by two small town Wisconsin boys, Bo Weber & Steven Price took on the name The Silver Heart Club, and began their path to becoming musicians. With no musical background, the two had a long way to go. In only a couple years, Steven and Bo taught themselves how to play drums, guitar, piano and other supporting instruments. They listened closely to some of their favorite bands, as they learned the basics behind song structure and music theory. Once they got a band together, they began playing shows as often as two gigs a week, and began making a name for themselves in the Midwest. After patiently creating a good amount of respectable riffs and melodies, they once again took on another steep learning curve. Audio engineering; another subject the boys knew very little about, however it only took Bo & Steven a short amount of time to learn the fundamentals behind it. Self-engineered, and self-produced, the duo is eager to release their very first full-length album. All of the lyrics, instruments, and sounds you will hear on this record were written and recorded by these two young men. Rookies to the music scene, their album appropriately named Rookie Card, is scheduled to be released on August 31st, 2012.
