本作のレコーディングと撮影は、通算5枚目のアルバム『残響』ツアーの最終公演であり、活動休止発表前最後のライヴとなった、2008年11月20日〜21日の二日間に英ロンドンの伝説的なヴェニュー、アレクサンドラ・パレス2公演で行われた。
