Product Description

Andy Kramer is very good at maintaining a balance between diligence, goofiness, and passion. This has come out in all areas of his life, including his latest musical endeavor, Sighless Sunday. The pop punk trio is rounded out by Evan Letner and Ben Rohrig. The former is a worship pastor at Grace Pointe Sanctuary on the north side of Columbus and the latter is an 18 year old self-employed piano instructor. The five track project opens with the short, passionate I Believe, a cover song that while simplistic, communicates the heart of the band in a fun way. Personal testimony continues in Been There Done That where Kramer delivers a message of faith that surpasses all else, and that he has this knowledge because he has seen what the world has to offer and he's simply been there and done that. This style continues in I'm Just a Man and Deep Inside but gives way to a lighthearted story about meeting a girl at Taco Bell, aptly titled Burrito Girl. The musicianship, while not really breaking any new ground, is fun and on point. The production is crisp and superb, considering how small this band is! Frankly, I think quality of the recording is about as good as any other punk record I've heard. The drumming is great and sharply contrasts with Ben Rohrig's clean cut, reserved demeanor. The fact is more people need to take this band seriously. If they market themselves correctly, they could be a real force to be reckoned with in central Ohio in a year or two.
