Lisa Baydush, Audrey Katz and Barry Astrow are Shir Synergy, a talented Jewish music trio whose synergistic efforts yield a dynamic and sunshine-y sound with this new children's album containing 17 original songs by Lisa Baydush. Lisa's passion for Judaism and Jewish music has led her to compose over 70 songs and travel a new career path as a Jewish Music Educator in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. The music specialist at the Jewish Community Center of Greater Washington, Lisa also leads monthly Tot Shabbat services at Congregation B'nai Tzedek. Singing with children is one of Lisa's very special joys, which is obvious to all who see her surrounded by her littlest fans, and her songs exude that joy with every note. Audrey is also a Jewish Music Educator, as well as talented singer who has been song-leading since she was a teen. The Religious School Music Director at Washington Hebrew Congregation for many years, Audrey is known for her perpetual sunshine-y smile, and her love for what she does is palpable and infectious. A dynamic performer, Audrey has an effervescent personality that makes her very beloved by students and parents alike. Barry is a software engineer with a velvet voice that began in high school choir and in all-state and all-county performances, and progressed to a cappella groups, the Binghamton Crosbys and Take Note!, and singing with Audrey during Beth El Hebrew Congregation's monthly Shabbat services. His flair for harmony and counter melody arrangement enhance every Shir Synergy song! Barry especially enjoys playing the 'straight man' to Audrey and Lisa's more extroverted styles.
