Uniting After Tragedy

Shadows Incorporated began in 2007 through fate and friendship. All drawn together as the result of an accident that cost the lives of three of their friends, the members of what is now Shadows Inc. Could not have fallen into place more perfectly. A series of coincidences lead to the formation of the band and the compostion of an album based off the tragic event. Their first self titled album 'Shadows Incorporated' was released in 2011 and contained songs all based off of the loss of their friends. Staying true to form their 2012 release of 'Uniting After Tragedy' proved to provoke questions of life after death and the meaning of existence. The album also based off the event was actually named after a news paper headline concerning their friends the day after the accident. Both albums are riddled with coded dedicatons to their friends mostly concerning the date of the accident, 6-18. Though it is an important bond between them the members of Shadows Inc. Have worked to create music that means something to all their listeners. A style that relates but yet allows the listener to imagine their own experiences and scenarios. Using a melodic and at times erie guitar style they love to progress through songs and at times show their teeth with un expected groove metal riffs .
