Skid Row脱退後は、ブロードウェイ・ミュージカルで活躍したり、Last Hard Menという半お遊び的バンドで活動していたSebastian Bachがいよいよ本格的にシーン復帰！
98年発表のライヴ・アルバム以来となる、初の本格的ソロ・アルバムが本作 『Angel Down』です。アルバムのプロデュースは、Tribe Of Gypsiesのギタリストでもある名手Roy Zが担当。アルバムには全14曲が収録される予定で、リード・トラックとなる“(Love Is) A Bitchslap”やAerosmithのカヴァーである“Back In The Saddle”のカヴァーにはなんと、盟友Guns N' RosesのAXL Roseがゲスト参加しているとか！なお、アルバムのカヴァー・アートはSkid Rowの2ndアルバム『Slave To The Grind』を手掛けたバズのお父上であるDavid Bierkの作品が使われるとのこと。Guns N' Rosesや『Slave To The Grind』というキーワードを耳にすると、あの熱かった91年を思い出さずにはいられません！これでGuns N' Rosesが『Chinese Democracy』を出せば更に言う事なしなんですけどねえ。
