Last Year Scott appeared on the Oprah Winfrey Lifeclass Show in front of 45 million TV viewers. Oprah told Scott he had a 'gift' for songwriting and called his song fantastic. Scott's influences scatter across the board of musical legends like Baby James, Wilson Pickett, Ray Charles, Johnny Cash, and new artists like Mraz, Mars and Dave Mathews.
