シューマンのシンフォニーは苦手ですが、コンチェルトは、どれも素晴らしい。このディスクでは、冒頭の悩ましい、孤独な音から、私は、衝撃を受けました。流石、エッシェンバッハ。イッサーリスは、美音で、朗々と歌い、聴かせます。ロマンティスト、シューマンの面目躍如、名曲である事を教えてくれました。

こだわりの選曲、そして誰よりも一番たくさん弾いているであろうシューマンのコンチェルト、興味は尽きないがエッシェンバッハのサポートもよく、この曲の最右翼の録音が出来上がった。
