★今作『Swingin' Easy』は、ピアノ、ベース、ドラムで構成されたトリオのサウンドだけをバックにしたサラ・ヴォーンのアルバムとなっ ており、これは彼女がエマーシーに残したアルバムの中でもあまり知られていないものの1つである。スウィングから始まり、50年代ジャ ズを彩るビバップなど、モダン・ジャズの魅力がぎゅっと詰まった一枚。

★このアルバムは、1954 年と1957 年の 2 つのトリオ・セッションを組み合わせたもので、最初のセッションには、ピアニストのジョン・ マラチ、ベーシストのジョー・ベンジャミン、ドラマーのロイ・ヘインズが参加し、2 枚目のトリオには、同じドラマーに加え、ピアニスト のジミー・ジョーンズとベーシストのリチャード・デイヴィスが参加している。
